February CEO recap: Commercialization in sight

Growing market interest – launching soon in Sweden and Norway
Interest in ScaffSense continues to grow! Our unique system for scaffolding monitoring is generating curiosity and engagement across Europe. Initially, ScaffSense will be launched in our home markets Sweden and Norway, allowing us to collaborate closely with our partners and efficiently overcome any unexpected startup challenges. And as our online following is expanding daily, more of our followers now come from outside Scandinavia – a promising sign for future expansion.

Industrialization on track
We are pleased to announce that the final phase of industrialization for ScaffSense© v1.0 is progressing as planned. Over the past months, we have focused on finalizing the system both technically and functionally while also completing pre-series production with our Swedish subcontractor. Now, minor adjustments are being made to maximize production efficiency and optimize costs.
Ensuring safety and quality – EMC testing and CE Marking
Since our system falls under the Radio Equipment Directive (RED), we have been focusing heavily on CE marking. Last week, we conducted verifying EMC tests with an external inspection body, achieving excellent results. Quality and safety are core values for us, and before the launch, we are committed to ensuring the product is thoroughly tested and performs reliably, to guarantee a high-quality product that customers can trust and reinforcing a strong market reputation.
Huge market potential confirmed by Carnegie
According to Carnegie, which has deep insights into the scaffolding industry through their analysis coverage of the scaffolding company HAKI AB, a product like ScaffSense© could capture 5–10% of the technology segment in the European scaffolding market. This represents an addressable market of SEK 700–1,400 million. Read Carnegie’s report on ScaffSense (as part of their initiation report on Kebni) here.
BETA tests in April – Join us!
A successful launch is not just about generating initial interest but also about building a strong brand, adapting to customer feedback, and laying a solid foundation for long-term customer relationships. In parallel with the launch, we are therefore inviting a group of early adopters to test a BETA version of ScaffSense© v1.0. Would your company like to participate? Ready for our first customers!
Finding the first customers for a new product requires a well-anchored strategy and persistence. We are confident that ScaffSense and our dedicated owners have what it takes to succeed!
Sincerely,
Martin Elovsson
